Lucknow is set to witness a vibrant blend of devotion and culture as the Shri Ramlila Samiti Aishbagh organizes a grand 12-day Krishna Leela festival starting March 19 at the Ramlila Ground in Aishbagh. The event is being held to celebrate the Indian New Year, Vikram Samvat 2083.
According to committee president Harish Chandra Agarwal, the performances will take place at the Tulsi Manch, featuring a series of religious and cultural programs each day. The festival will begin with a Sunderkand recitation at 3 PM on March 19, followed by cultural performances by artists from the Culture Department at 8 PM. The Krishna Leela enactment will commence at 8:30 PM daily.
Special highlights of the event include the celebration of Ram Navami on March 27, which will feature elaborate religious rituals and gatherings. On March 30, a special narrative on Khatu Shyam Ji along with the story of Barbarik will be presented, adding spiritual depth to the celebrations.
The 12-day festival will conclude with a unique flower Holi celebration, offering a colorful and devotional experience to attendees. Organizers expect a large turnout and have made arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the event.
This festival not only reflects the rich cultural heritage of Lucknow but also serves as a platform to connect the younger generation with traditional values and spiritual practices.
