ANYTIME NEWS NETWORK – The ASSOCHAM Uttar Pradesh State Development Council delegation, led by Co-Chairman Mr. Hasan Yaqoob, met with the Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh today to discuss business initiatives and development priorities for the state. Mr. Yaqoob presented ASSOCHAM’s key initiatives including industrial growth facilitation through business summits and investor meets, skill development programs in manufacturing, IT, and service sectors, MSME support through capacity building and finance access programs, and trade promotion activities enhancing UP’s commercial presence.
The Hon’ble Governor emphasized the critical importance of Corporate Social Responsibility in the state’s development. The Governor urged ASSOCHAM to mobilize member organizations to increase CSR spending in underserved regions, with priority on education, healthcare, rural infrastructure, women empowerment, and environmental sustainability. ASSOCHAM has been requested to serve as a coordinating body to align CSR initiatives with state development priorities and ensure measurable impact. The meeting reinforced the collaborative partnership between ASSOCHAM and the Government of Uttar Pradesh in driving inclusive growth.
