Banking Meets Lifestyle with Lounge Access, Health Packages and Rewards

India’s leading public sector lender Bank of Baroda has announced the launch of a premium savings account designed exclusively for women – the bob Women Sapphire Savings Account. The newly introduced account combines financial services with health, wellness and lifestyle benefits to cater to the evolving needs of modern women customers.
One of the key highlights of the account is a ₹10 lakh cancer care coverage plan available for women between the ages of 18 and 60. In addition, account holders will receive complimentary online doctor consultations for up to six family members. The bank has also partnered to provide up to 15 percent discounts on medicines and up to 20 percent concessions on pathology tests.
The account comes with the bob Bhoomi RuPay Select Debit Card, which offers a variety of premium lifestyle privileges. These include access to domestic airport lounges, complimentary gym membership, health check-ups, spa or salon sessions and OTT subscriptions.
Women account holders will also receive a 50 percent first-year fee waiver on the Tiara Credit Card issued by BOBCARD in the form of reward points. The credit card offers a range of benefits including a free women’s health package, personal accident coverage and shopping vouchers from popular brands such as Myntra, Nykaa, Flipkart and Lakme.
The account requires a monthly average balance of ₹1 lakh and offers several additional banking privileges. These include a 50 percent waiver on home loan processing charges and up to 20 percent discount on locker charges.
Speaking on the launch, Debadatta Chand, Managing Director and CEO of Bank of Baroda, said that the bob Women Sapphire Savings Account reflects the bank’s commitment to developing meaningful women-centric financial solutions.
He added that by integrating wellness benefits with premium banking and lifestyle privileges, the bank aims to address the growing aspirations of women customers while strengthening its engagement with the high-value women’s deposit segment.
