The ‘Pravesh Utsav’ (Admission Festival) for the academic session 2026–27 was आयोजित at Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Jan Bhavan in Lucknow, in the esteemed presence of Anandiben Patel. The event welcomed both existing and newly admitted students with enthusiasm and warmth.
The program began with a musical band performance by students, followed by a traditional स्वागत ceremony. A prayer performance and a documentary showcasing enrollment drives added depth to the event.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor emphasized that education is the most powerful tool to lift individuals out of poverty. She encouraged students to attend school regularly, lead disciplined lives, and focus on becoming responsible citizens. Interacting with students, she motivated them to pursue their dreams—be it in defense, medicine, teaching, law, or public service—with dedication and clarity.
She also urged parents to actively participate in their children’s education by monitoring progress, attending PTMs, and maintaining positive communication. Highlighting the importance of holistic development, she stressed that children should be guided according to their interests and abilities, including extracurricular activities like music, arts, and sports.
During her visit, the Governor inspected classrooms, the Anganwadi section, and mid-day meal arrangements. Special Secretary Prakash Gupta highlighted the role of education and health in nation-building and achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
School principals Rashmi Pandey and Anupama Mandal also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to excel. The event saw participation from officials, teachers, parents, and a large number of students.
