The Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, Prabhu N. Singh, chaired a statewide review meeting via video conferencing to assess operational preparedness ahead of Holi.
During the meeting, he directed all regional offices to ensure additional bus services to manage festive rush and maintain seamless transport arrangements. Passenger safety, punctuality, and disciplined operations were emphasized as key priorities.
The MD instructed strict compliance with mandatory 13-point and 31-point technical inspections for all buses to ensure roadworthiness. Drivers and conductors were directed to halt buses at designated stops and ensure safe boarding and deboarding of passengers.
Reaffirming the state government’s commitment to providing safe and efficient public transport, he called for heightened vigilance and coordinated efforts during the festive season.
