Governor Anandiben Patel laid the foundation stone of the Patient Relative Accommodation (PRA) building at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, aimed at providing shelter to attendants of patients coming from distant areas.
She also inaugurated state-of-the-art radiology facilities, including CT Scan, Ultrasound, and X-ray services, and reviewed the arrangements at the diagnostic block. Emphasising transparency and accessibility, the Governor directed that priority be given to economically weaker families in allotment of PRA rooms.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak termed the inauguration a significant milestone in strengthening the state’s healthcare system. He lauded the institute’s contributions in medical care, research, and patient services.
The event marked another step towards enhancing healthcare infrastructure and patient-centric facilities in Uttar Pradesh.
