Beneficiaries Receive Financial Support Under MSME, CM Yuva Udyami and PM Surya Schemes

Lucknow: Union Bank of India organized a special loan distribution camp in its Lucknow Zone, Uttar Pradesh, where beneficiaries received loan sanction letters and cheques under various government initiatives. The camp aimed to promote entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, particularly through support extended under the MSME sector, Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Abhiyan and PM Surya Ghar Yojana.

The event was attended by Suryapal Gangwar, Secretary to the Chief Minister, who distributed cheques to the beneficiaries and conveyed his best wishes. Addressing the gathering, he said that India is progressing steadily towards becoming a self-reliant nation with dignity and confidence. He described such initiatives as important milestones in strengthening the country’s economic foundation and empowering citizens through financial support.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Kumar, Zonal Head of Union Bank of India, emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting economic growth in the region. He stated that the bank aims not only to meet but also to exceed the Credit-Deposit (CD) ratio benchmarks set by the Reserve Bank of India.

He added that the bank continues to actively support entrepreneurs, particularly in the MSME sector, women-led enterprises, hospitality businesses and renewable energy initiatives. According to him, such loan distribution programs help expand access to credit and encourage new business ventures.
Several beneficiaries from sectors including hospitality, women entrepreneurship and small businesses received financial assistance during the program. Senior officials of the bank and a large number of entrepreneurs and beneficiaries were present at the event.

The initiative was widely appreciated as a meaningful step towards financial empowerment, employment generation and strengthening the spirit of entrepreneurship in Uttar Pradesh.
