SBI Ladies Club, Lucknow Circle distributes Essential Supplies to Elderly at Snehdhara Old Age Home

State Bank of India (SBI) has always emphasized serving the vulnerable and underprivileged sections of society, striving to integrate them into the mainstream. In line with this commitment, the SBI Ladies Club, Lucknow Circle, organized a community service program on Friday at Snehdhara (Amma-Bappa Ka Apna Ghar), an elderly care center operated by the Srijan Foundation.

 

To support the daily needs and well-being of the elderly residents, the SBI Ladies Club donated a range of essential items, including Washing machine, commercial juicer, water cooler, computers, and cupboards, Beds, mattresses, pillows, bedsheets, pillow covers and Raw food grains and various other food items for their daily food requirement. Members of the club expressed their wishes for the improved physical and mental health of the elders.

The program was presided over by Mrs. Rituparna De, President of the SBI Ladies Club, Lucknow Circle. Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. De stated, “The SBI Ladies Club has always been dedicated to serving and empowering the weaker sections of society by providing necessary resources from time to time. We believe our contribution today will enhance their overall well-being and pave the way for a better quality of life.”

 

Several prominent members of the SBI Ladies Club including Mrs. Renu Rai, Vice president, SBI Ladies club, Mrs. Nivedita, Secretary, SBI Ladies club, Dr Amit Saxena and Dr. Archana Saxena, President of Srijan Foundation and elders from old age home also graced the occasion. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Neetu Kumar.
