AREDICA Team Clinches Title, Jammu Division Emerges Runner-Up in Grand Finale

The Inter-Divisional Badminton Tournament of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) was successfully held at the Gomti Indoor Stadium of Modern Coach Factory (AREDICA) from April 3 to April 5, 2026. The event was graced by Inspector General-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner Ramesh Chand and Security Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Tiwari.
A total of 36 players from divisions including Delhi, Moradabad, Firozpur, Baroda House, AREDICA, RCF Kapurthala, Lucknow, Ambala, and Jammu participated in the tournament. The three-day sporting event featured singles, doubles, and team competitions with high energy and competitive spirit.
AREDICA team emerged as the overall winner in the team event, while Jammu Division secured the runner-up position. In the Open Singles category, Inspector Rajesh Kumar from Ambala won the title, while Mohit Dahiya from AREDICA finished second. In Open Doubles, Lucknow’s Inspector Manish Rai and Constable Atul claimed victory.
Winners were felicitated by Ramesh Chand. General Manager Vivek Khare appreciated the successful आयोजन and extended best wishes to all participants.
