French global aerospace leader Safran and PTC Industries have announced the signing of a contract to provide casting parts for the LEAP engine powering single-aisle jets

PTC Industries and Safran Aircraft Engines have entered into a multi-year contract to develop industrial cooperation for LEAP engines casting parts. Under this contract, PTC Industries will produce titanium-casting parts for Safran Aircraft Engines. This agreement reflects the commitment of both companies towards the Indian Government’s “Make in India” policy.

This contract with Safran Aircraft Engines is a game-changer for the future of aerospace manufacturing. It is a pivotal moment for PTC and Aerolloy positioning them at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing and opening the entire civil aviation business by becoming a key part of the global aerospace supply chain.

The first titanium castings for LEAP engines are scheduled to be delivered in 2024 making PTC and Aerolloy the first company in India supplying castings for aero-engines for civil aerospace.
