Lucknow witnessed vibrant devotional fervor as Shyam Jyot Mandal organized a grand Satrangi Dhwaja procession on the third day of the 44th Shyam Nishanotsav. The procession began from Maharaja Agrasen Park, Tilaknagar, and culminated at Shri Khatu Shyam Temple on Birbal Sahni Marg.
Devotees dressed in colorful Rajasthani turbans marched with sacred flags, dancing to devotional songs celebrating Fagun festivities. Decorated elephants, camels, horses, and thematic tableaux depicting deities, freedom fighters, and national icons added grandeur to the procession.
A flower-decked chariot carrying the Akhand Jyot and idol of Baba Shyam drew huge crowds. Members announced they will depart for Khatu to offer the sacred Nishan on February 24 and return on February 26.
