Cooling Relief & Essential Aid Distributed for Patients and Caregivers

: In a commendable act of social responsibility, the Ladies Club of State Bank of India (SBI), Administrative Office Lucknow (East), organized a humanitarian initiative at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences to support patients and their caregivers.
During the event, essential materials were distributed to Madhav Seva Ashram, operated by Bhaurao Seva Nyas. The donated items included two 165-litre air coolers, one 150-litre water cooler, a 50-litre water purifier, four steel almirahs, and other necessary supplies. These resources are expected to significantly enhance comfort and basic facilities for patients and attendants visiting from different parts of the country.
Madhav Seva Ashram plays a vital role in providing accommodation, food, and essential support to patients and their families at SGPGI. The contribution by SBI Ladies Club will help strengthen these services and bring relief to many in need.
The event was chaired by Mrs. Rituparna De, President of SBI Ladies Club, Lucknow Circle, who emphasized the club’s continued commitment to empowering and supporting underprivileged sections of society. Key members including Vice President Mrs. Renu Rai, Secretary Mrs. Nivedita, and Ashram Coordinator Mr. Sharad Jain were also present.
