Unified Platform to Benefit Industries, Startups, MSMEs and Citizens
Anytime News Network. In a major step toward modernizing public service delivery, the government has launched the Standardization Testing and Quality Certification Lab Automation Portal – ‘Satya’. The integrated and user-friendly digital platform aims to provide faster, transparent, and reliable certification services to citizens, industries, startups, MSMEs, and government departments.
The portal is designed to streamline certification processes, ensuring quicker service delivery, improved predictability, and enhanced trust in quality assurance. For startups and small and medium enterprises, it significantly reduces procedural burdens, enabling them to bring compliant and safe products to market more efficiently.
The initiative aligns with the national vision of Digital India, Minimum Government – Maximum Governance, and Ease of Doing Business. By digitizing certification procedures, the Satya portal strengthens quality assurance while making services more accessible and citizen-centric.
S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, described the portal as a significant milestone in modernizing service delivery for standardization testing and quality certification through end-to-end digital processes. Leveraging technology, he said, will enhance transparency, efficiency, and trust while ensuring accessibility for all stakeholders.
Minister Jitin Prasada emphasized the importance of cyber security, data protection, and product quality, noting that platforms like Satya contribute to building a trusted digital ecosystem and support India’s emergence as a global technology and manufacturing hub. He also congratulated the STQC team, MeitY officials, C-DAC, and other stakeholders for their dedicated efforts in conceptualizing and implementing the portal.
With the launch of the Satya portal, India has taken another decisive step toward strengthening quality, transparency, and digital trust in public service delivery.
