In a major boost for lakhs of aspirants, the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with State Bank of India (SBI) to strengthen digital payment infrastructure for TET-2026 applications.

The agreement was formalized at the Commission’s Alanganj office on the auspicious occasion of the first day of Chaitra Navratri. Under this collaboration, SBI has integrated its advanced “E-Pay” digital payment gateway into the Commission’s system, ensuring that application fee collection becomes faster, more secure, and highly efficient.

A key highlight of this initiative is that the payment service will be completely free for candidates, eliminating any additional financial burden during the application process. This move is expected to significantly ease the experience for applicants across the state.

The MoU was signed by Commission Secretary Manoj Kumar and SBI Deputy General Manager Pawan Kumar Arora. It was formally exchanged between Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar and SBI Chief General Manager Deepak Kumar Dey (Lucknow Circle), in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

Chief Manager Garima Srivastava and Branch Manager Rajesh Kumar Sahu (Karnalganj) played a crucial role in coordinating the agreement.

Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that this initiative will enhance transparency, efficiency, and reliability in the application process, while also promoting digital transactions in line with the Digital India vision.

With this upgraded system, candidates applying for TET-2026 can now expect a seamless, hassle-free, and secure payment experience, marking a significant step forward in modernizing recruitment processes in Uttar Pradesh.
