*Uttar Pradesh Chapter’s Initiatives*
*Lucknow/Varanasi/Kanpur/Agra, August 2024:* As India races towards becoming a USD 1 trillion economy, Uttar Pradesh is poised to contribute over 25% to this ambitious goal. Reflecting the state’s Chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s commitment to employment, income generation, and economic growth—recently underscored by his inauguration of a Rozgar Mela in Ayodhya—the World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF), a global Indian organization fostering innovation, business, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment, has announced the launch a series of initiatives under its Uttar Pradesh Chapter.
Drawing inspiration from the Chief Minister’s vision, WHEF has aligned its efforts with Uttar Pradesh’s growth narrative. The Forum announced the rollout of a series of strategic events across Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra, and Lucknow, aimed at creating employment and business opportunities for the state’s youth and budding entrepreneurs. These vibrant cities will see WHEF leveraging local potential by connecting them to its expansive global network. A key initiative includes establishing a Convention Centre in Varanasi, with support from the state government, to operationalize WHEF’s contributions to the region.
“Our goal in Uttar Pradesh is to unearth and nurture new opportunities for youth and entrepreneurs,” said Swami Vigyananand, Founder of WHEF. “We see immense potential in Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra, and Lucknow for industrial and business growth. By integrating these hubs into our global network, we aim to attract investments and facilitate the growth of new businesses, thereby creating ample employment and income-generation opportunities. Together, we are steering towards a Viksit Uttar Pradesh and a prosperous Bharat,” added Swami Vigyananand.
The Chief Minister’s recent efforts in Ayodhya, where he distributed tablets to over 3,415 young individuals and presented appointment letters during the district-level Rozgar Mela and Yuva Sammelan, align closely with WHEF’s mission. Uttar Pradesh stands to gain significantly from WHEF’s focus on Viksit Bharat, Industry 4.0, innovation, and regional development, with Uttar Pradesh being the starting point of the Forum’s mission. Notably, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has previously attended WHEF conventions, is anticipated to participate in WHEF 2024 in Mumbai as well.
The Forum’s overarching mission, “Make Society Prosperous,” echoes the UP Government’s developmental priorities.
As part of its commitment to driving India’s growth story, WHEF is gearing up to host its flagship event, the Conference and Expo (WHEF 2024), in Mumbai from December 13th to 15th, 2024. This premier business event, to be held at the Jio World Convention Centre, will operate under the theme “Think in Future, for the Future and Viksit Bharat,” promoting forward-thinking and sustainable economic strategies.
“After successful forums in global cities like Hong Kong, New Delhi, London, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Bangkok, WHEF is proud to bring this important conference to Mumbai and regular events in key cities of Uttar Pradesh and other states. WHEF is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to Uttar Pradesh’s entrepreneurs and aspiring youth by connecting them with our global entrepreneurial network,” concluded Swami Vigyananand.
