Marathon to Cricket Finals, Competition at Its Best
Over 1100 Participants from 16 Districts Compete

The “Youth Sports Festival 2.0” in Lucknow turned into a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and youth energy, bringing together over 1100 participants from 16 districts. The event was jointly organized by Uttishtha Seva Sansthan, Prof Sharda Prasad Tiwari Memorial Trust, SS Hospital, My Bharat, and Kavyom Foundation.
The event began with a marathon flagged off by chief guest Avneesh Kumar Singh and other dignitaries. The closing ceremony was graced by Danish Azad Ansari, who emphasized the role of sports in shaping discipline, confidence, and holistic development among youth.
In the cricket finals, BBD University defeated Maharishi University to claim the championship along with a cash prize of ₹11,000, while the runners-up received ₹5,500.
The marathon saw impressive performances, with Abhishek securing first place in the men’s category and Ruby topping the women’s category. Winners across events were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates.
Kabaddi competitions also drew attention, with Bhasha University winning in the men’s category and Navyug College emerging victorious in the women’s category.
The festival highlighted the growing enthusiasm for sports among youth and reinforced the importance of such platforms in nurturing talent and promoting a healthy competitive spirit.
