Army Medical Corps Marks 262nd Anniversary with Tribute to Bravehearts

The 262nd anniversary of the Army Medical Corps was celebrated with great pride and solemnity, honoring the legacy of service, sacrifice, and dedication to the nation. The AMC Centre and College hosted a series of events to mark the occasion.
The celebrations began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial, where Lieutenant General Shivendra Singh, AVSM, Commandant of AMC Centre and College, paid tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Addressing a special gathering of officers and troops, Lt Gen Singh emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of training to ensure world-class medical support during both war and peace. He commended the relentless dedication of all ranks in upholding the proud traditions of the Corps.
The event also featured sports competitions, family activities, and entertainment programs, fostering camaraderie among personnel and their families.
The celebrations concluded with a grand social evening at the Officers’ Mess, attended by serving senior officers, veterans, and their spouses, reflecting the strong bond within the AMC fraternity.
