In a major enforcement drive against незакон constructions and unauthorized plotting, the Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has taken strict action in the Shuklaganj-Unnao region. The authority sealed illegal developments spread across approximately 15,300 square meters and issued notices for around 7,600 square meters.
The operation was carried out under the direction of Vice Chairman Madan Singh Garbyal and Secretary Abhay Kumar Pandey, led by Special Officer/SDM Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh. Large-scale незакон plotting activities in villages Muskapur Devara Kala and Devara Kala, covering nearly 6,000 and 9,000 square meters respectively, were sealed. Additionally, a G+2 незакон construction of about 300 square meters in Pindokha village was also locked down.
Authorities stated that all these developments were being carried out without approved maps or official permissions, violating planning regulations. The sealed premises are being handed over to Gangaghat police custody.
Further action under Sections 27 and 28 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 was initiated in Devara Khurd and Sahajni areas. Notices to halt development, police intimations, and show-cause notices were issued for незакон constructions spanning around 7,600 square meters.
KDA has warned that failure to respond satisfactorily to these notices will lead to strict actions, including sealing and demolition.
Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh has urged citizens to verify layout approvals from KDA before purchasing land and to ensure construction strictly adheres to approved plans to avoid financial and legal consequences.
The authority reaffirmed that such enforcement drives will continue as part of an ongoing campaign against illegal urban development.
