At 19, Designing Rockets for 30 Nations—Prakhar’s ‘VIRAAT SAFE’ Gains Global Attention

A 19-year-old prodigy from a small village in Tikamgarh, India, Prakhar Vishwakarma has made the nation proud on the global stage. At the prestigious ‘Global Physics Summit 2026’ held in Denver, USA, organized by the American Physical Society, Prakhar was honored with the ‘Youngest Participant’ award.
Despite his young age, Prakhar’s achievements are extraordinary. With over 300 national and international certifications in aerospace, defense, and space science, he has already worked on complex rocket and spacecraft design projects for more than 30 countries.
At the summit, he presented his indigenous defense innovation, ‘VIRAAT SAFE’ (Virtual Defence System), which received widespread appreciation from global physicists and experts. The project is being seen as a futuristic breakthrough in defense technology.
Prakhar is also a registered ‘Space Tutor’ with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), mentoring hundreds of students in rocketry and astronomy. His ongoing work on ‘Project RAM’ and indigenous drone systems has earned him the nickname ‘Young Missile Man’ in his region.
Currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering at Bhopal’s Bansal Institute, Prakhar aims to make India self-reliant in defense technology. He credits his success to his parents and mentors, calling their support crucial in his journey.
His story stands as a powerful example of how talent, determination, and innovation can transcend boundaries and bring global recognition.
