Grand Seminar on Inclusive Growth Through Entrepreneurship Held at BBAU Lucknow

A grand seminar on “Entrepreneurship for Inclusive Development” was successfully आयोजित at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). The event witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Badri Narayan Tiwari and Sunita Mishra.
The seminar aimed to highlight the role of entrepreneurship in fostering inclusive and sustainable development. DICCI played a key role in the आयोजन, with its UP President Manish Verma gracing the occasion.
Several talented entrepreneurs from across Uttar Pradesh were honoured with the “Innovator & Entrepreneur Award” for their outstanding contributions in diverse sectors. The session was chaired by K L Mahawar, with notable उपस्थिती from Naveen Arora and Dev Mani Saroj.
Among the awardees, Sumitra Saroj from Prayagraj was recognised for her work in bio-toilets and energy solutions. Aarti Devi Rana from Lakhimpur Kheri received appreciation for promoting traditional handloom products under ODOP.
Archana Jaisal from Varanasi was honoured for her contributions in the education sector, while Manish Kumar was recognised for rural empowerment initiatives. Dr. Rajesh Kumar from Sultanpur was awarded for excellence in healthcare services.
Additionally, Janjatiya Shilp Pvt. Ltd. was acknowledged for preserving heritage handicrafts, Sangeeta from Daulat Grih Udyog for food processing innovations, and Dr. Rajneesh Verma for advanced work in animal IVF and human stem cell research at the global level.
Speakers emphasised that entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for job creation, innovation, and social inclusion. The seminar served as an inspiring platform for young entrepreneurs and startups aiming to contribute to India’s growth story.
