The prompt action led to the arrest of the duo near the Himalayan Tiraha Underpass, successfully neutralizing a major security threat in the capital.
Deadly Assault on Scorpio SUV
The violence erupted near Sadar Tehsil, Sector 5, when complainant Shubham Tripathi and his friends were ambushed. The miscreants opened fire with the intent to kill and severely damaged the victims’ vehicle (UP32PR6214) before fleeing the spot.
Police Strike: Illegal .32 Bore Pistol Seized
Acting on precise intelligence, police nabbed Rahul Singh (32) and Suhel Ghazi (22), both residents of Alambagh, Lucknow. Officers recovered an illegal .32 bore pistol and two live cartridges used in the commission of the crime.
Hardened Criminals Behind the Trigger
Investigations revealed a alarming criminal antecedents. Prime accused Rahul Singh was previously convicted and sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment for a murder in 2019 and was currently out on High Court bail. His associate, Suhel Ghazi, is also a hardened offender booked under the Gangster Act in Hardoi district.
