Dance, Drama & ‘Miss Farewell’ Crown Make the Evening Unforgettable

. A vibrant and emotional farewell ceremony was organized at Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya for the final-year B.Sc students, marking the end of a beautiful academic journey. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by Principal Prof. Manjula Upadhyay, setting a graceful tone for the occasion.
The cultural performances added color and energy to the event. A lively group dance by second-year students kickstarted the celebration, followed by a powerful stage play based on the Mahabharata, highlighting women empowerment with a strong message of self-reliance.
Final-year students Zeenat Bano and Prachi Tiwari moved the audience with their self-written poems, beautifully capturing college memories and aspirations for the future. Their performances left many teary-eyed.
First-year students presented a creative dance drama titled “Dreamy Delusion,” emphasizing the importance of living in reality. Energetic performances celebrating women’s strength further uplifted the spirit of the evening.
The highlight of the event was the “Miss Farewell 2026” competition, featuring ramp walk, talent, and Q&A rounds. Srishti Mishra was crowned Miss Farewell 2026, while Pragya Patwa and Shatakshi Trivedi secured the first and second runner-up positions respectively.
In her address, the Principal inspired students to embrace future challenges with confidence and uphold the values learned at the institution.
The event was beautifully anchored by Anushka and Sanjana, keeping the audience engaged throughout. The समारोह concluded with gratitude, smiles, and cherished memories captured forever.
