Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh extended his full support to the Wrestling World of Bharat (WWB) initiative, appreciating its vision and impact. Encouraging the founders of WWB, he stated that this platform will unlock new international opportunities for talented Indian wrestlers and give a significant boost to the nation’s economy. He also praised the decision to host this grand international event on UP Diwas (24 January 2026) at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow.
During his interaction, Shri Rajnath Singh expressed confidence in Mr Hasan Yaqoob, Co-Chairman ASSOCHAM and Mentor WWB, Mr Raj Singh, Founder WWB, and Mr R. P. Singh. He said that this initiative will bring pride to the nation as it charts meaningful pathways for India’s youth and elevates the country’s presence in global sports entertainment.
