The QC team from *MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LTD* won the *38th CII UP Quality Circle Competition 2025-26* organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Lucknow on 19 September 2024. The first runners-up trophy was bagged by “TATA MOTORS LTD, Lucknow” and “ZF CVCS INDIA LTD, Barabanki” won the second runners up trophy.
Quality Circles play a very important role in involving a wide cross section of employees in an organization for improving quality within an organization through participation.
The competition provides a unique opportunity to motivate workers to exchange ideas, views and share experiences on Quality Circles and various approaches to problem solving. The Competition includes presentations by Quality Circle teams of the organization. The top teams from the Preliminary Contests would then compete at the Regional Final.
The competition saw the participation of shop floor workers workmen, quality heads from Q C teams representing Tata Motors Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Triveni Almirah Pvt Ltd, ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd (Wabco India Ltd), Barabanki, Denso India Pvt Ltd &, Bharat Electronics Ltd, AMA Herbal Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Bajaj Energy Ltd & Rockman Industries Ltd, Haridwar.
