Caught on CCTV: Victims Critical, Public Outrage Grows Over Reckless Driving

A shocking hit-and-run incident was reported in Lucknow where a speeding car rammed into two युवकों in the Vibhuti Khand area on Monday morning and fled the scene. The accident occurred near the BSNL office in Vishesh Khand, where a blue car (UP32HT7802) hit the victims at high speed.
Eyewitnesses reported that the impact was severe—one victim, Abhinav Shukla, was thrown onto the car’s windshield, suffering critical head injuries and remains unconscious. The other victim, Prateek Sharma, sustained multiple fractures, including injuries to the leg, skull, and ribs. Both are currently in serious condition.
The driver escaped without offering any help, triggering anger among locals. CCTV footage capturing the entire incident has surfaced, clearly showing the reckless speed and impact.
Bystanders rushed the injured to the hospital, while residents demanded strict action against negligent driving, calling it a growing threat to public safety.
