The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition (VGRE) 2026, held from 11th to 15th January 2026 at Marwadi University, Rajkot, concluded on 15th January, 2026 with active participation from RDSO, industry, academia, start-ups and other stakeholders.
RDSO participated throughout the event, with the RDSO pavilion witnessing substantial footfall over the five days. During the exhibition, RDSO officials interacted extensively with industry representatives, MSMEs, start-ups and technology providers, sharing information on Indian Railways’ technical standards, approval processes and research initiatives. Special emphasis was laid on familiarising stakeholders with IREPS (Indian Railways E-Procurement System) and UVAM (Unified Vendor Approval Module) to facilitate transparent procurement and streamlined Vendor approval processes.
RDSO’s engagement at VGRE-2026 reaffirmed Indian Railways’ commitment towards innovation, digital initiatives and industry collaboration, in support of Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
