Indian Bank signs MoU with Directorate of Training & Employment, UP for Salary Account Facility

In a significant step towards providing modern, secure and beneficial banking services, Indian Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Training and Employment, Uttar Pradesh for offering exclusive salary account facilities to its officers and employees.
Under this agreement, Indian Bank will open special salary accounts for all employees of the Directorate, offering multiple insurance and financial security benefits at no additional cost. The Bank has introduced five different variants of salary accounts, providing free personal accident insurance, insurance cover for spouse, special financial protection for daughter’s marriage and higher education of children.
Additionally, employees will be eligible for concessional interest rates on personal loans, vehicle loans and home loans, overdraft facilities as per eligibility, free ATM/debit cards, internet and mobile banking, UPI and other advanced digital payment services.
The MoU was formally exchanged between Shri Abhishek Singh, Director of the Directorate of Training and Employment, and Shri Sudhir Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager, Indian Bank (Lucknow Circle). Both officials described this initiative as a forward-looking step towards employee welfare and financial inclusion.
Senior officials including Additional Director Shri Manpal Singh, Shri Rajendra Prasad and Circle Head Shri Pankaj Kumar Singh, along with officers from both institutions, were present on the occasion.
