Passport Grievance Redressal Camp to be held on Feb 21 across UP centres

Anytime News Network. The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Lucknow continues its citizen-centric initiatives to ensure quick and effective resolution of passport-related issues. In this regard, a Passport Grievance Redressal Camp will be organized on February 21, 2026, simultaneously at all four Passport Seva Kendras under its jurisdiction — Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Varanasi.

Earlier, a similar camp held on December 27, 2025, witnessed participation from nearly 500 applicants, where most grievances were resolved on the spot, while applicants with documentation issues were provided proper guidance.

During the upcoming camp, applicants can visit their nearest Passport Seva Kendra without any prior appointment and directly present their grievances to the concerned officials. Applicants are advised to carry all relevant documents for faster resolution.

Meanwhile, the RPO, Lucknow also released its 2024–25 performance report card.
A total of 733,686 passports were issued in 2024, which increased to 809,839 in 2025.
Similarly, 70,636 PCCs were issued in 2024 and 62,687 in 2025.

The office has also shown steady performance in services like Apostille, Global Entry Program (GEP) and Surrender Certificates. Initiatives such as Meet Your RPO, Passport Van Services, periodic grievance camps, and digital platforms like WhatsApp, Grievance Portal and Twitter (X) have significantly enhanced service delivery.

The RPO reaffirmed its commitment towards transparent, accessible and citizen-friendly governance.
