On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, a quarterly meeting of the Rajbhasha Implementation Committee (RAKAS) was organized at the Local Head Office of State Bank of India in Lucknow. The meeting was chaired by Chief General Manager Mr. Deepak Kumar De.
Reviewing the progress of official work in Hindi across departments, Mr. De emphasized that a mother tongue is the voice of one’s inner confidence and the first identity of an individual. He stated that working in Hindi is not only a constitutional responsibility but also strengthens customer trust, as service in one’s own language enhances satisfaction.
Senior officials including General Managers of Network-1, Network-2 and Network-3 were present. Certificates were distributed to winners of divisional-level painting and calligraphy competitions, and departments performing excellently in Hindi work were awarded shields.
The latest issue of the in-house magazine “Vatayana” was also appreciated for showcasing employees’ creativity. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and was conducted by the Assistant General Manager (Rajbhasha).
