‘Shaam-e-Khaas’ Celebrates Art, Talent and Social Commitment

A memorable blend of music, literature and social recognition unfolded at the Rai Umanath Bali Auditorium in Kaiserbagh on Thursday as Ek Pahal Welfare Foundation successfully hosted its cultural programme, “Shaam-e-Khaas.” The event brought together renowned artists, distinguished guests and members of civil society for an evening dedicated to art, inspiration and national development.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Natwar Goyal, Vice Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Small Industries Corporation, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the award recipients and emphasized that achieving the vision of Developed India 2047 requires collective participation from every citizen. He urged people to dedicate their talent, knowledge and professional excellence towards nation-building, stating that cultural and social institutions have a vital role in strengthening India’s progress.
PCS officer Swati Gupta, the Guest of Honour, highlighted the importance of literature, culture and community-driven initiatives in creating a socially responsible and progressive society. She appreciated organizations that provide platforms for emerging talent while promoting cultural values.
The highlight of the evening was an impressive Ghazal Mehfil, where celebrated artists Syed Bilal Noorani, Furqan Ahmad, Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Dr. Nafees Ahmad, Ashfaq Makhdoom and Naeem Ahmad captivated the audience with soulful performances. Their renditions received repeated applause, creating an atmosphere filled with melody, poetry and artistic elegance.
The foundation also honoured several distinguished personalities for their contributions in various fields. Saurabh Sharma, Mahendra Kumar, Shilpi Saxena, Preeti Kumar, Zara Sheikh and Asifa Ahmad were among those felicitated for their dedication and achievements.
The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to promoting cultural heritage, encouraging social responsibility and recognizing excellence across different sectors.
