The city of Lucknow witnessed a vibrant celebration of art, culture and music as the International Buddhist Institute in Gomti Nagar hosted a grand cultural competition and exhibition titled “Spandan—Sur Saaj Sanskritiyon Ka Vandan.” The event brought together diverse artistic expressions and created a lively platform for performers and cultural enthusiasts.
Participants showcased their talent across several categories, including singing, light music, dance and semi-classical performances. The melodious voices, graceful movements and energetic presentations captivated the audience and brought the richness of India’s artistic and musical traditions to life.
The event went beyond a conventional cultural competition by creating a platform where different forms of art could come together. Its central objective was to provide artists with an opportunity to showcase their talent while connecting the younger generation with India’s rich cultural heritage, traditions and artistic values.
A special exhibition organised alongside the cultural programme emerged as another major attraction. The programme was organised with the cooperation of Shiv Sanskriti Kala Foundation, Bhawani Sanskriti Sansthan and Nupur Dance Academy. Their collective efforts provided a meaningful platform for performers while promoting cultural engagement in Lucknow.
