Visit of the Managing Director & CEO of Union Bank of India to Lucknow

 

Lucknow, March 7, 2025 The Managing Director & CEO of Union Bank of India, A. Manimekhalai, visited the Lucknow Zone on March 7, 2025.

During her visit, she participated in the Bank’s CSR activities by supporting the mentally retarded children of the “Asha Jyoti School” with Computers, CC TV, and Solar Sets. “Asha Jyoti Institute” for Mentally Handicapped, is a prestigious educational institute provides support through various programs and awareness campaigns for social welfare to poor and mentally retarded children/adults. On this occasion A. Manimekhalai praised the benevolence efforts of institution for contribution in social upliftment.

 

Apart from above, she also inaugurated the new premises of the Corporate Business Centre (CBC) at Zonal Office Campus in Lucknow.

 

Further, a grand outreach camp was organized by the Zonal Office of Union Bank of India at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The event was honoured by the gracious presence of the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak. During the event, the Managing Director & CEO, A Manimekhalai and Shri Brajesh Pathak, handed over the sanction letters/Cheques for various government schemes and others to the eligible beneficiaries. On this occasion, she also interacted with customers and shared insights on financial developments and expressed the commitment of Union Bank of India to pass on the benefits of both Central & State government schemes to the general public.

 

Addressing the event, Shri Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, urged customers to avail the benefits of government schemes so that every section of society can achieve economic growth. He also provided information on the benefits of the “CM YUVA” scheme launched in January 2025 by the Uttar Pradesh government and appreciated the work done by Union Bank of India under the “CM YUVA” scheme. The gathering was also addressed by the Chief Secretary MSME Shri Alok Kumar, who praised a lot to Union Bank of India for extraordinary work in sanction and disbursement of CM YUVA Loan. Shri Sanjay Gupta president of Adarsh Vyapar Mandal Lucknow was also present on this occasion.

 

During the program, Shri. Rajesh Kumar, Zonal Head of Union Bank of India Lucknow, informed customers about the various activities undertaken by the bank for all sections of society. He emphasized our bank’s commitment in delivering prompt banking services to all the customers.
