RDSO visit of 09-member delegation of Bangladesh Railway
09 member delegation of Bangladesh Railway lead by Md. Zidul Islam, Project Director Bangladesh Railway visited RDSO on 16.12.2025. RITES has got 200 LHB type coach export order for Bangladesh and same is being manufactured in RCF Kapurthala and RDSO has been associated in this coveted export project in safety verification by conducting fatigue testing of bogie, Crash simulation of shell body in RDSO and also associated in squeeze testing of shell at RCF. Sh. Qazi Mairaj Ahmad, ADG, RDSO welcomed the delegation.
A detailed technical deliberation was held in RDSO with delegation which was followed by witnessing of fatigue test of Bangladesh Railway Bogie in Fatigue Testing Lab and crash simulation in Computer Lab. During the technical discussions, senior officers of RDSO along with the concerned directors were also present.
The Delegation was very much satisfied with the visit and appreciated efforts of Indian Railways in upgrading its coaches with enhance global level safety features.
