SBI & UTD MoU for Cashless, Contactless, Secure and Easy payment through the National Common Mobility Card.*

*State Bank of India and Urban Transport Directorate, Lucknow signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Cashless, Contactless, Secure and Easy payment through the National Common Mobility Card.*

The Urban Transport Directorate and State Bank of India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide Cashless, Contactless, Secure and Easy payment by the passengers through the National Common Mobility Card. Shri Mahendra Bahadur Singh, Director/Special Secretary, Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Shri Dheeraj Kumar, Dy. General Manager, Lucknow (West) on behalf of State Bank of India signed the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding).

Presently, the Directorate of Urban Transport is operating Electric and CNG urban buses in 15 cities of the State.

The National Common Mobility Card, being implemented by the Directorate of Urban Transport in collaboration with the State Bank of India will be issued at designated counters and by bus conductors. Passengers can apply for digital card through the online portal. Recharge of the National Common Mobility Card can be done through online portal and through E-Ticketing Machines by the conductors on buses and from the counters.
