SBI donated an ambulance to Gangasheel Charitable Trust for the service of patients

State Bank of India, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, is always committed to uplifting various sections of society. State Bank continuously strives to accelerate change in India by supporting the vulnerable, disadvantaged, and underprivileged sections of society and ensuring its contribution to efforts aimed at improving their quality of life.

In this regard, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, SBI Managing Director, Shri Rama Mohan Rao Amara, presented an ambulance for patients to a hospital, run by the Gangasheel Charitable Trust at an event held at SBI Bareilly Main Branch. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “SBI has been committed to its corporate social responsibilities for over 200 years. We periodically conduct various activities under the Bank’s social service responsibility, including CSR activities conducted annually at each module level at primary schools, old age homes/ women’s shelters, orphanages/ disabled schools, Anganwadi centres, PHCs, upgrading public toilets, distributing sanitary pads and bicycles to girl’s schools. The Bank also conduct several CSR activities at local level, as required by various charitable and social institutions. The Bank will continue to fulfil this responsibility in the future also.”

On this occasion, Bank’s Managing Director, Shri Rama Mohan Rao Amara, also informed about the various digital products of the Bank, especially the upcoming version of Bank’s mobile app, YONO 2.0 and various initiatives taken by the Bank in other digital areas.

Speaking on the occasion, Bank’s CGM Lucknow Circle, Shri Dipak Kumar De, said, “Being the Bank of every Indian, we are not only engaged in providing banking and financial services to every citizen of the country but are also involved in the social concerns of the people.”

In this program, apart from the Managing Director of State Bank of India, Shri Rama Mohan Rao Amara, Chief General Manager Shri Dipak Kumar De, General Manager Shri Anil Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Shri Suman Bakshi, Regional Manager, Shri Neeraj Kumar Rai and Executive Director of Gangasheel Charitable Trust, Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, and other representative of the Trust, besides all the senior officers and employees of the Bank were present. After this program, the Managing Director of SBI, Shri Rama Mohan Rao Amara also planted a tree in Bareilly Main Branch.
