IIID Lucknow to Host 4th Edition of “Design Confluence & Building Materials 2026” from February 13–16

The Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID), Lucknow Regional Chapter, is all set to organise the fourth edition of its flagship event, “Design Confluence & Building Materials 2026”, from February 13 to 16, 2026, in Lucknow.

The event is being led by Chairperson R. Aviral Agrawal, Honorary Treasurer R. Parul Saxena, and Honorary Secretary R. Fauzan Khan. The Conveners for the event are R. Ashok Kumar and Ranjan Shukla, supported by the Executive Committee members Abhishek Agrawal, Prateek Srivastava, Vishal Jain, Vishal Mathur, Mayank Goyal, Ekta Agrawal, Vaibhav Goyal, and IPC Prasenjit Sanyal. Senior architects including Dr. Vandana Sehgal, R. Ajay Bahl, and Dr. K. K. Asthana have also played a key role in shaping the event.

As part of the pre-event activities, two programmes have already been successfully conducted. On February 12, a Sketching Competition, Walkathon, and Shaam-e-Samvaad were organised. Students from leading institutions such as BBD, Integral University, ITM, and Amity University enthusiastically participated in the sketching competition. The evening dialogue featured IAS Mukesh Meshram, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, along with renowned Malaysian architect Lillian Tay.

A special panel discussion for architecture students will also be organised during the Confluence, where students will receive professional guidance from senior architect Anil Agrawal.

The exhibition at the NEC venue will be formally inaugurated by Shri Brajesh Pathak. The Design Confluence will witness in-depth discussions on architecture, interior design, and building materials, with participation from leading architects, designers, and industry experts from across the country.

The primary objective of the event is to provide a common platform for professionals, students, and stakeholders to exchange ideas on latest innovations, technologies, and trends in architecture and building materials.

The exhibition will be open to the general public, and the organisers expect a footfall of over 20,000 visitors during the four-day event. Prominent architectural bodies such as IIA, LAA, YACA, and IGBC are extending strong support, making this one of the most significant design events in the region.
