Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Celebrates Creativity and Talent Among Children and Women

Art, Mehndi, Mocktails and Fireless Cooking Competitions Promote Participation, Confidence and Community Unity

The Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebrations in Lucknow witnessed an enthusiastic display of creativity as the Shri Agrawal Sabha, Lucknow, organised a series of competitions for children, women and girls. The activities brought together artistic expression, practical skills and entertainment, highlighting the importance of nurturing talent and strengthening community bonds.

Young Artists Address Social Themes

A painting competition was organised on Friday, October 9, at Maharaja Agrasen Public School in Jankipuram. Children participated across three age groups, showcasing their imagination and artistic abilities.

The themes included environmental protection, Swachh Bharat and science and technology. These subjects encouraged participants to explore social responsibility, cleanliness, environmental awareness and the role of innovation in shaping the future.

Women and Girls Showcase Their Skills

At Seth Ramjas Hall, Agrawal College, in Moti Nagar, a range of creative and recreational competitions was organised for women and girls. The events included mehndi decoration, dress-making using newspapers, mocktail preparation, fireless cooking and musical chairs.

The activities provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate creativity, practical skills and confidence in a supportive environment. The diverse programme also highlighted how community celebrations can create inclusive platforms for people of different age groups.

Community Leaders Participate

The event was attended by Shri Agrawal Sabha, Lucknow, president Surendra Nath Agrawal, along with Pankaj Agrawal, Lokesh Agrawal, Anupam Mittal, Amit Agrawal, Vishnu Agrawal, Bharat Bhushan Agrawal, Ripin Agrawal, Naresh Agrawal, Harshit, Govind Krishna Agrawal, Anjali Kumar Agrawal, Ashish Agrawal, Akshay Agrawal, Manoj Kumar Haveliya, Manish Agrawal, Sunil Agrawal and Sushil Agrawal. Virat Sagar Das was also present.

Creativity Strengthens Social Bonds

Ripon Kansal and Singhal Air Conditioning supported the programme. The organisers aimed to provide children, women and girls with a platform to express their abilities while encouraging creativity, participation and a stronger sense of community.

The celebrations underscored the value of cultural occasions that go beyond tradition by creating meaningful opportunities for talent development, social interaction and collective engagement.
