44th Shyam Nishanotsav Begins from February 20

Lucknow will witness a grand spiritual celebration as Shri Shyam Jyot Mandal organizes the 44th Shri Shyam Nishanotsav at Maharaja Agrasen Park, Tilaknagar (Aishbagh) from February 20. The three-day event themed “Jamghat Mhare Shyam Ka” promises devotional fervor and cultural grandeur.
Renowned bhajan singers from Jaipur, Kolkata, Ranchi, and Kanpur will perform on February 20 and 21, while a vibrant saffron flag procession will be taken out on February 22, culminating at Shri Khatu Shyam Temple.
This year’s highlight is a majestic royal darbar inspired by the terracotta architecture of Bishnupur from the Malla dynasty era, featuring Rasmancha and Pancharatna architectural styles. The structure is being crafted by Guinness World Record holder Asim Matya of Kolkata.
On February 23, devotees will depart for Khatu Dham carrying the sacred Nishan.
