ctured Decision Making and Career Strategy for Emerging Women ScholarsтАЭ was organized at Navayug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Rajendra Nagar, Lucknow. The keynote speaker was Dr. Anamika Bajpai, Founder Director of the Vedanta Center for Academic and Professional Mentorship Excellence (V-CAP Mentorship), USA.
The session was inaugurated with a welcome address by Principal Prof. Manjula Upadhyay, while Dr. Vineeta Singh conducted the proceedings. The event was supported by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Mission Shakti team of the college.
Dr. Bajpai emphasized structured decision-making, career planning, and skill enhancement for young women scholars. She encouraged students to define clear career goals, pursue financial independence, and strategically build professional identities.
During the interactive session, students expressed aspirations in fields such as scientific communication, medical writing in pharmaceutical companies, forensic science, biotechnology, biomedical postgraduate programs, research initiatives, and forensic laboratories.
A key highlight of the lecture was the emphasis on professional networking. Students were advised to create LinkedIn profiles to showcase their skills, achievements, and career ambitions on a global platform, enhancing opportunities for collaboration and mentorship.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sangeeta Kotwal, IQAC Coordinator. Faculty members and students attended in large numbers and described the lecture as inspiring and practically insightful. The event not only enriched academic perspectives but also equipped students with concrete strategies for career advancement and digital professional branding.
