In a significant push to strengthen regional transport infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh inaugurated the newly constructed bus station at Ramsanehighat (Bhiteria) in Barabanki. The project was completed in line with the Chief Minister’s announcement and was developed following the demand of State Minister Satish Chandra Sharma.

Constructed at a cost of ₹3.36 crore, the bus station is equipped with modern passenger amenities aimed at improving travel convenience. The project was executed by UP State Construction and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd., ensuring quality infrastructure and enhanced commuter experience.

The facility includes clean toilets, safe drinking water arrangements, hand pumps, signage, interlocking pavement, buffer strips, passenger platforms, boundary walls, and a rainwater harvesting system. These additions are expected to significantly improve the daily travel experience for passengers.

On the occasion, the Transport Minister also flagged off five buses connecting key routes including Barabanki–Ayodhya Dham–Jaunpur–Varanasi, Barabanki–Haidergarh–Raebareli–Prayagraj, and other important destinations like Chitrakoot, Kanpur, and Kaushambi. This initiative will ease travel for thousands of daily commuters and strengthen inter-district connectivity.

Several dignitaries, including BJP District President Ram Singh Bhullan Verma and other local leaders, were present at the event. Locals welcomed the development, calling it a milestone for the region’s infrastructure growth.
