DM Orders One-Week Deadline, 102 Cases Resolved On the Spot

A strong administrative drive was witnessed in Lucknow as the “Samadhan Diwas” was conducted across all five tehsils under the leadership of the District Magistrate. A total of 521 complaints were registered, out of which 102 cases were resolved on the spot, reflecting the administration’s commitment to prompt grievance redressal.
At Sadar Tehsil, 73 complaints were received, and 26 were resolved immediately through coordinated efforts of departmental teams. The remaining cases were forwarded to concerned departments with strict instructions to ensure resolution within a week.
The District Magistrate emphasized that addressing public grievances at the local level is a top governance priority. All officials were directed to follow due legal procedures and ensure timely and quality disposal of cases.
Across other tehsils, Malihabad resolved 6 out of 72 cases, BKT resolved 20 out of 99, Mohanlalganj handled 36 out of 160, and Sarojininagar resolved 14 out of 117 cases on the spot.
The complaints included 140 police-related issues, 210 revenue matters, 40 development cases, 16 municipal concerns, and 94 from other categories.
The DM also instructed officials to submit photographic and video evidence of resolved cases and mandated follow-up calls with complainants to collect feedback, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Senior officials including Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Rakesh Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manoj Singh, and Tehsildar JP Singh were present during the proceedings.
