From Ghaziabad to Ghazipur, Murders Occurring Daily; Real Criminals Flourishing Under State Patronage, Alleges SP Chief

LUCKNOW. Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has launched a blistering attack on the BJP government, accusing it of completely decimating the law and order machinery in Uttar Pradesh. Expressing deep concern over the spiraling crime rate, Yadav stated that incidents of murder, loot, and rape are rising relentlessly across the state. He highlighted that even the capital city of Lucknow is no longer safe, with criminals executing brazen daylight murders without any fear of the administration.
The SP chief pointed out that the BJP government’s heavily publicized claim of a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy against crime has officially been reduced to ‘zero’. Criminals have lost all fear of the police and administration. Citing a chilling recent incident, he mentioned the daylight murder of a real estate businessman within the PGI police station limits in Lucknow. Yadav emphasized that from Ghaziabad in the west to Ghazipur in the east, multiple gruesome murders are being recorded every single day.
In an official statement released by Samajwadi Party’s Chief Spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary, Akhilesh Yadav alleged that under the BJP regime, actual criminals are escaping the clutches of law due to explicit political patronage. Conversely, innocent individuals are being falsely implicated to serve political vendettas. This biased approach is precisely why the law and order situation is deteriorating rapidly instead of improving.
Bringing attention to other recent tragedies, Yadav mentioned that in Mahoba on Tuesday, the body of a man who had gone to graze goats was recovered from a well, while in another part of Mahoba, a farmer sleeping inside his hut in the fields was brutally murdered. The SP chief accused the Chief Minister and the BJP government of deliberately misleading the public with false narratives on crime control, whereas ground realities indicate that Uttar Pradesh currently tops the charts for maximum criminal activities in India.
Yadav further stated that Uttar Pradesh has unfortunately secured the number one spot in the country regarding heinous crimes against women and young girls. Furthermore, the state ranks highest in cases related to the oppression and harassment of Dalits. He concluded by asserting that the morale of musclemen and criminals remains sky-high solely because of the political shield provided by the ruling party. Yadav declared that crime will only be eradicated and true law and order restored once the BJP government is voted out of Uttar Pradesh.
