In a major relief for postgraduate aspirants, Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU), Lucknow, has officially extended the deadline for online applications for the academic session 2026-27. Aspiring students looking for admissions in various PG operational modules now have an extended window to lock their seats.
Deadline Extended on Samarth Portal; VC Urges Timely Action
According to the official notification released by the Admission Director, Prof. Anamika Chaudhary, the registration process under both CUET-PG and Non-CUET categories has been live on the Samarth portal since May 20, 2026. The earlier scheduled deadline of June 20 has now been pushed forward to June 27, 2026. Vice-Chancellor Acharya Sanjay Singh has strongly urged candidates to wrap up their application procedures well in advance to avoid last-minute portal traffic.
Battle for 1,077 Seats: Diverse Spectrum of Courses Open
The university houses a total of 1,077 seats across multiple postgraduate domains. Admissions are currently being invited for highly sought-after professional, technical, and conventional programs:
Humanities & Commerce: M.A. (Hindi, English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Education), MSW, and M.Com.
Science & Tech: M.Sc. (Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Microbiology, Information Technology), MCA, and M.Tech.
Professional & Special Education: MBA, MVA, LLM, M.Ed. Special Education, B.Ed. Special Education, PGDRF, and M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. Furthermore, entries are active for PGDAVT and MPO programs under the Non-CUET framework.

To facilitate a smooth and glitch-free admission drive, the university administration has rolled out a dedicated helpline number: 8887222060. Candidates can seamlessly submit their digital profiles via the university’s integrated Samarth portal.
