To foster creative skills and promote the art of expression, the Official Language Department organized a grand Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition-2026 at the Modern Coach Factory (Aredika). The cultural event witnessed enthusiastic participation from railway officers, employees, and their dependents.
The Clause of Originality
The unique highlight of the competition was its strict criteria: participants were only allowed to recite their own original, self-written (Maulik) compositions. This brought out raw literary talent and diverse perspectives on the stage.
Honoring Literary Excellence
Top performers were honored with prestigious awards in the presence of the Chief Official Language Officer. The Trust distributed first, second, and third-place trophies alongside three special ‘Prerna’ (Inspiration) awards to boost the morale of budding poets.
Distinguished Jury Panel
The evaluation panel comprised Chief Materials Manager Krishna Kumar Kanaujia and Chief Quality Manager Omkar Sharan Singh. Prominent dignitaries including Principal Chief Security Commissioner Ramesh Chandra, Official Language Officer Rakesh Ranjan, and Public Relations Officer Anil Srivastava graced the event, praising the initiative to strengthen national language roots.
