Lucknow: A grand Felicitation Ceremony 2026, organised by All India Jamiyatul Mansoor at Sahkarita Bhawan, brought together religious scholars, community leaders, Haj pilgrims, students, and social workers in a celebration of faith, education, and social unity.
Addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest, Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali, Imam Eidgah and Chairman of the Islamic Centre of India, described Haj as one of Islam’s fundamental obligations, urging eligible believers to perform it without unnecessary delay and with proper understanding of its spiritual significance. He congratulated the pilgrims, saying that being invited to Haj is a blessing and a sign of Allah’s mercy.
The event was organised by State President Abdul Aziz Mansoori and chaired by former MLA Hafiz Irshad Ahmad Mansoori, while National President Haji Babbu Mansoori attended as the Special Guest.

Speakers emphasised the importance of strengthening educational opportunities, social empowerment, and unity within the Mansoori and Ansari communities. Hafiz Irshad Ahmad Mansoori highlighted the organisation’s journey and stressed that collective efforts would accelerate the community’s social and economic progress.
Haji Babbu Mansoori called for greater welfare measures for the Mansoori community, including institutional support and policy benefits. Sajid Mansoori urged members to unite at the national level to effectively present community concerns before the government.

Although Uttar Pradesh Haj Minister Danish Azad Ansari could not attend due to prior commitments, he addressed the audience through a mobile message, assuring continued cooperation with the organisation. Several dignitaries, including BJP Minority Morcha State President Kunwar Basit Ali and Uttar Pradesh State Haj Committee member Syed Ali Warsi, also addressed the gathering.
One of the highlights of the event was the felicitation of Riyaz Mansoori and his son Armaan Mansoori, recognised for their bravery in rescuing numerous people during the Delhi hotel fire incident. Dozens of Haj pilgrims, meritorious students, advocates, social workers, and community contributors were also honoured with mementoes.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Abdul Aziz Mansoori, while Mohammad Gufran Naseem conducted the proceedings. Participants from Lucknow and several other cities attended the event in large numbers.
