The State Bank of India (SBI) has categorically denied media reports claiming that employees of the Shree Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust were not receiving their salaries due to a dispute between the bank and the Trust. In an official press release issued by its Local Head Office in Lucknow, SBI clarified that there is no dispute whatsoever between the bank and the Trust.

According to the bank, reports suggesting that salary payments were being withheld because of differences between SBI and the Trust are incorrect and misleading. SBI stated that all transactions in the Trust’s accounts are being processed smoothly and strictly in accordance with the mandate and instructions authorized by the Trust.

The bank emphasized that it continues to provide all banking services to the Trust without interruption. Therefore, linking any alleged delay in salary payments to SBI is factually inaccurate. The clarification aims to dispel confusion created by recent media reports and reassure stakeholders that banking operations related to the Trust remain unaffected.

SBI also urged media organizations and the public to rely only on official information and avoid spreading or believing unverified reports. The bank reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparent, secure, and uninterrupted banking services for all its customers.

The clarification was issued through an official press release by Dipesh Raj, Chief General Manager, Local Head Office, Lucknow, on July 25, 2026.
