Walk-in Interview Announced to Expand Postal Life Insurance Network

India Post has announced a Walk-in Interview for the selection of Direct Agents to strengthen the outreach of Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI). According to the official notification issued by the Office of the Chief Postmaster, Lucknow GPO, the interview will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
A Business Opportunity with Social Impact
The Department has clarified that the engagement is not a regular government job. Selected candidates will work as Direct Agents under departmental guidelines and will receive commission-based remuneration for promoting Postal Life Insurance schemes.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed Class 10 (High School) and are 18 years of age or above are eligible to participate in the selection process. Interested applicants may appear directly at the Office of the Chief Postmaster, Lucknow GPO, on the scheduled date and time.
