Techno Group of Institutions, Lucknow, hosted its Fresher’s Induction Programme 2026 on Tuesday at the College Auditorium, formally welcoming the new batch of first-year students. Held under the theme “A New Beginning: Endless Possibilities,” the programme marked the beginning of a new academic journey focused on learning, discipline, personal growth and future opportunities.

Distinguished Guests

The programme was attended by Mr. Sameer Verma (IAS), Special Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Ms. Jasmine Jain, Additional Commissioner (Appeals), Department of State Taxes, Uttar Pradesh, as Chief Guests.

Chairman Er. R. K. Agarwal, Managing Director Dr. Rishi Agarwal, President Mrs. Vidhi Agarwal and Director General Col. Ramakant Pandey (Retd.) were also present along with faculty members, staff and newly admitted students.

‘Compete With Yourself’

Addressing the students, Mr. Sameer Verma urged them to look beyond academic qualifications and focus on the individuals they aspire to become. He encouraged students to define their own parameters of success, establish clear priorities and continuously challenge themselves rather than comparing their progress with others.

His three-word mantra—“Learn, Earn and Return”—called upon students to acquire knowledge, build meaningful careers and eventually contribute to society.

College Life Shapes Character

Ms. Jasmine Jain highlighted the importance of college life in shaping personality, values and future goals. She encouraged students to use these formative years to think independently, gain experience, remain motivated and work towards clearly defined objectives.

Focus on Discipline and Networking

Dr. Rishi Agarwal assured the students of a safe and enriching educational environment. He urged them to make full use of available opportunities while focusing on coordination, networking, hard work and punctuality.

Chairman Er. R. K. Agarwal emphasised the importance of a positive educational environment in shaping professional careers. President Mrs. Vidhi Agarwal introduced the students to the Japanese concept of “Kokoro”, representing harmony of heart, mind and spirit, and encouraged them to make purposeful choices.

A Strong Start

Delivering the vote of thanks, Col. Ramakant Pandey (Retd.) stressed the importance of having both a sound mind and the determination to turn ideas into action.

The programme set an energetic and purposeful tone for the new academic session while highlighting Techno Group of Institutions’ commitment to academic excellence, innovative pedagogy, modern infrastructure, vibrant academic activities and industry-driven placement opportunities.
