South Indian Flavours Take Over Lucknow as ‘Dakshin Flavours’ Opens at Golden Tulip

The rich aroma of traditional spices, authentic Andhra recipes and coastal delicacies has added a new flavour to Lucknow’s vibrant food culture with the launch of ‘Dakshin Flavours – Reviving the Magic of Coastal Kitchen’ at Golden Tulip Lucknow.

The special South Indian food festival has begun and will continue until September 8, 2026, offering guests an opportunity to experience the diverse culinary traditions of South India under one roof.

The festival celebrates the richness of Andhra cuisine and the distinctive character of coastal kitchens. Traditional recipes, fresh ingredients and carefully selected spices have been combined with an attractive modern presentation, creating a memorable dining experience for food lovers.

Golden Tulip Lucknow General Manager Amit Singh Chauhan said the objective behind the festival is to bring the authentic identity and traditional flavours of South Indian and coastal cuisine closer to guests. He said the specially curated menu features dishes known for their unique spices, preparation methods and strong regional character.

Food and Beverage Manager Raja Ram Kumar said the menu has been designed to offer a balanced combination of different flavours, textures and cooking styles. The response to the signature dishes, he added, has made the culinary celebration even more special.

Among the major attractions are Mutton Chukka Boneless, Gutti Vankaya Kura, Pathrani Fish, Andhra Kodi Pulao, Folehara Rice and Veg Havale. Each dish reflects the diversity and depth of South Indian cuisine while retaining its traditional identity.

Chef Sitaram Mulu said special attention has been given to preserving the authenticity of every recipe. Fresh ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and the right balance of spices have been used to ensure guests experience the original flavours of South Indian cuisine.

With the fragrance of traditional spices, the richness of coastal flavours and the comfort of modern hospitality, Dakshin Flavours has created a distinctive culinary atmosphere at Golden Tulip Lucknow. For residents, food enthusiasts and visitors to the city, the festival promises a flavourful journey through the vibrant kitchens of South India.
