: Indian Bank has strengthened its digital banking push at the Global Fintech Fest 2026, unveiling a new range of technology-driven solutions aimed at making personal banking and cash management simpler, smarter and more customer-friendly.
The key attraction was “AI-TARA” — Trusted Relationship Assistant, a conversational voice banking solution designed to make digital banking more accessible. The platform enables customers to access banking services through voice commands in 10 languages. Services such as fund transfers, IMPS transactions and opening fixed deposits can be initiated through voice interaction.
The solution is particularly significant for senior citizens and customers who may not be fully comfortable navigating conventional banking applications. By bringing essential banking services within the reach of voice commands, Indian Bank is seeking to reduce the digital gap and make technology-enabled banking more inclusive.
The bank also showcased Smart Wealth, available on its IndSmart platform. The personal finance management module brings multiple financial instruments under one roof, allowing customers to view information related to bank accounts, mutual funds, deposits, equities, ETFs and NPS in an integrated manner.
Smart Wealth goes beyond simply displaying financial information. It provides spending analysis and personalised financial insights based on an individual’s financial position, helping customers gain a clearer view of their money and make more informed financial decisions.
For corporate and institutional customers, Indian Bank launched Ind Cash Optima, a comprehensive digital cash management platform. It brings together digital collections, paperless corporate onboarding, mobile-based cash management and invoice-to-payment solutions. The integrated approach is expected to improve convenience, visibility and reconciliation for business customers.
Indian Bank Managing Director and CEO Binod Kumar said the bank is continuously leveraging technology to make banking simpler, more accessible and aligned with changing customer needs. He emphasised that the solutions showcased at the Global Fintech Fest reflect the bank’s focus on combining innovation with convenience, inclusion and a stronger customer experience.
With AI-powered voice banking, integrated wealth management and advanced cash management capabilities, Indian Bank’s latest initiatives underline its growing focus on building a more accessible and technology-led banking ecosystem.
